2014 marks the 30th anniversary of our vegetarian haggis and what better time to celebrate than National Vegetarian Week 19th – 25th May.
The spicy, oaty, veggie wonder was created back in 1984 by John Macsween, Jo and James’ father, for the opening of the Scottish Poetry Library, but due to popular demand became a permanent fixture.
The well-loved edition is enjoyed by vegans, veggies and meat eaters alike as it makes a tasty and filling ingredient. So if you are trying to cut down on meat or just fancy something different for dinner, give it a go.
