We are delighted to announce that last night (Tuesday) we won the 'Morrisons Award for Outstanding Business' at the IGD Food Industry Awards 2012.
Martyn Jones of Morrisons presents Team Macsween (James Macasween, Jo Macsween & Tom Faulkner) with the award.
The prestigious industry award recognises those companies who have made an important contribution in the food and grocery industry, with the judges commending us for being 'a company with innovation as its lifeblood'.
As you may know, our Grandfather started the business in the early 1950's, and as a family run company we are dedicated to haggis excellence, a key part of that magic comes from creating and developing a great team, recognising the importance of our people and our place within the local company and prioritising environmental sustainability. We are also dedicated to providing you, the Macsween consumer, with an excellent eating experience and a brand that you can love and trust. Therefore, being recognised by such an important award is very affirming for us and we will continue to strive for excellence.
We think Grandfather Charlie would be proud!
After fighting off stiff competition and a demanding judging process, the winner was announced at a glittering awards dinner held at London's Lancaster Hotel last night (Tuesday 9th October), in front of many of the food industry's big wigs.
The evenings glamorous host Gabby Logan; Macsween Director of Sales, Tom Faulkner makes his way to the stage to collect the award.
We'd like to say a special THANK YOU to you, the Macsween community, for your ongoing commitment and support!
