It's the most important meal of the day (as they say), whether it's a quick bite before you drop the kids at school and race to the office, a heartier feast to keep you going all day or a relaxed weekend affair, complete with a pot of coffee and the papers. Here are a couple of recipe ideas to keep you breakfasting like Kings (and Queens), and if you can't wait until tomorrow, you could always try having breakfast for dinner tonight.
Black Pudding Benedict
Preparation Time: less than 10 minutes, Serves 2

Ingredients
1 x 130g Macsween '90 second' Black Pudding
1 ½ tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp butter
2 muffins, spilt in half
2 poached eggs
Jar of hollandaise sauce
handful chives, finely chopped
Method
1. Heat a pan of salted water for poaching the eggs, pour in 1 tsp white vinegar.
2. Gently warm the hollandaise sauce.
3. Toast muffin and butter
4. Break egg into a cup with a ½ tsp white vinegar. Gently slip the egg into the simmering water and poach for few minutes.
5. Place pack of microwave black pudding in the microwave and heat as per instructions
To serve
1. Place toasted muffin on the plate.
2. Top with the black pudding, then the poached egg.
3. Spoon over the hollandaise and sprinkle with the chives.
