    HRH Haggis

    Posted by Team Macsween

All the recent Jubilee celebrations got me thinking about a few Royal connections Macsween have enjoyed over the years.  We are, unofficially, 'By Appointment' to a number of the Royal Family and chief amongst them is HRH Princess Royal who is an avid fan of Macsween Haggis. The Princess Royal has been a visitor to the Royal Highland Show many times and she often makes a wee detour to the Macsween stand to replenish her haggis stocks!  Last time we met, she informed me that she particularly enjoys our tiny canapé haggis when she is sailing up the West Coast of Scotland.

One of my favourite ways of serving these baby haggis is to barbecue them - delicious with roasted vegetables on a skewer.

The Macsween Kitchen will be in full swing at The Royal Highland Show which runs from the 21st - 24th of June and is a fantastic day out for all the family. For more information and to book your early bird tickets visit http://royalhighlandshow.org
