    How to reach 100 years!

Piper Mckay's Gran is in fine fettle with a gift from Macsween on her centennial Birthday

The gran of Piper McKay, a renowned Scottish Bagpiper, has celebrated her 100th birthday this week. So we decided to honour Mrs Simpson with a Macsween goodie bag, presented to her by her grandson Martin (aka Piper Mckay). Martin told us he was "thrilled to see her reach her 100th birthday", adding  "If my Gran continues to munch on Macsweens, I'm sure she'll make it to 200 years old".

The bagpiping guardian of Scotland developed a passion for the pipes from a very young age and has fond memories of visiting his Gran in Edinburgh as a youngster.

Piper Mckay travels all over the UK and the world creating memorable occasions. Martin told us  "from weddings, birthdays and more, my pipes bring great momentum to special occasions. Just recently I played for Disney to promote the magical Disney Pixar movie BRAVE, which was an amazing experience".

Having played the bagpipes for many Scots weddings, Burns Suppers and Scottish events, Piper Mckay has seen haggis served every which way, but his own personal favourite way to enjoy Macsweens is with the classic neeps and tatties! Martin told us "my Gran and Mother have always looked no further than Macsweens as the benchmark for great Haggis".
