Haggis Spring Rolls

Take small, teaspoon amounts of Macsween vegetarian haggis and place on a double layer of filo pastry that has been brushed with melted butter.  Fold the pastry around the haggis into triangles, or long spring rolls.  Place on a baking sheet and brush the outside lightly with melted butter.  Bake in a pre-heated oven at the temperature required to cook the pastry until lightly brown.  Serve as a starter with a continental salad and nut oil dressing, or with a hot tomato and coriander salsa.

Jo's tip: if you want to add a bit of added spice, texture or colour to this recipe, add other ingredients to the hot haggis before wrapping in the pasty.  Try chopped chillies, red peppers or fresh herbs, for example.
