Haggis is in fashion for summer, and leading haggis producers, Macsween of Edinburgh, are celebrating with a new look.

Macsween of Edinburgh, the leading haggis brand, has secured a year-round listing in over 100 Morrisons stores throughout the UK.

Imagine everyone’s surprise when Macsween of Edinburgh, one of the leading producers of haggis in the country, reported that sales of its world famous haggis in England were outstripping those in Scotland, right throughout the year? In fact, when the sales figures were reported in June 2008, and again last January, 60% were in England.

Macsween of Edinburgh, the leading haggis producer, has secured wide distribution through Morrisons supermarkets. This will see its products enlivening the aisles in England and Wales, as well as all Morrisons stores in Scotland. The roll-out will allow many more people to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth on 25th January.

Macsween of Edinburgh is the proud winner of a 2008 Vision in Business for the Environment (VIBES) award, a significant environmental accolade for a Scottish based company. Macsween won the 'Best Management' of a small business category in recognition of its commitment to proactive and innovative environmental management at its haggis factory.
